About Us

Clinic at the Corner was established in 2019 in Belleville, Ontario. We are a team of three new family physicians. We completed our residency training together in Belleville through Queen’s University, enjoying the area so much that we decided to stay. We are committed to providing the community with comprehensive primary care. We will be building up our practices over the next year, taking patients off of the Health Care Connect waitlist, and look forward to meeting you!

Bianca Burrows RN

Bianca is a local from Prince Edward County. She completed her BScN in nursing through Loyalist College and Trent University. Her first job after graduation was here in Belleville in the BGH ER. In 2012, Bianca moved to Yellowknife with her military spouse where she continued working in emergency care. In 2016, they were posted back to the area, where she returned to BGH and CMH ER. In 2018, she started working as a care coordinator for Home and Community Care Support Services Southeast. She enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 amazing kids and their goldendoodle. In her spare time Bianca enjoys playing soccer, hockey, and running. She is very excited to be working in primary care and getting to know all of you!

Melissa Kerr

Melissa is originally from Nova Scotia. Growing up, she experienced many moves throughout Canada before settling in the Quinte area, as both her parents were military. She started her career as a medical administrator here at the Clinic at the Corner. Melissa enjoys spending time with her partner, daughter and many animals. In her spare time she enjoys gaming, reading and plants. You will notice her green thumb around the office, as evidence of her many plants there for you to enjoy!

Carol Ann Fellows

Carol Ann is a Belleville girl, born and raised. After spending approximately 20 years working as a Legal Assistant she changed course and became a Medical Assistant working for the past 12 years at Quinte Healthcare, and the past 10 as a Unit Clerk in the Emergency Department. Carol Ann is the proud Mom to 3 wonderful grown young men. She has been a very active participant in all of their lives through coaching their soccer teams, cheering them on for football, hockey, tennis, ball hockey, rugby, music concerts, parent council and much much more. Outside of working 2 jobs, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, reading and hopes to do more travelling in the future.

Shannon Folz

Shannon recently relocated to the Belleville area with her family in 2022 from Bancroft. Though she is new to the area, she is not new to the medical field. Shannon started working as a Veterinary Assistant caring for our four legged friends at the young age of 15. She worked in the Veterinary field for several years until transitioning to family medicine in 2017, and it didn’t take long for her to discover that family medicine is her calling. Shannon has a daughter (and a spouse) who keep her on her toes. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors and cooking. She is grateful for the opportunity to be involved in your care!
